Could your computer internet connectivity be at risk?

It caught my eye and concerned me just a bit, so I did some checking:

My inside sources tell me that this isn't a total internet blackout but users may lose internet connectivity until they figure out how to fix it.

Apparently it's necessary to check if your DNS server settings are pointing to a server that isn't there one day, so you'll have to change your settings. 

Use either of these sites (US and Canada) to confirm all is okay:
